Dollar General interview questions

Asked me about what jobs I've had and how I could better the store also asked about my habits, such as smoking or drinking. Manager asked about Previous employment and why I wasn't working at the past location anymore

It took a while to hear back from Dollar General but once I did hear back it went pretty fast. The interview went really good. I was interviewing for a cashier position and she told me she wanted to hire me to be Lead Cashier/Key holder with a higher pay grade and full time. I just couldn't pass a background check to be able to work there. She was very understanding about my situation and really nice.
