I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Deutsche Bank (Pune) in Oct 2023
Interview
Deutsche didn't have an aptitude test in line, they only had a CV screening round followed by a GD round.
It was important that you actively listen what others are speaking and then gave your point at an opportune moment, cutting someone off or speaking a lot was mostly negatively judged, short and crisp points were favoured.
GD was followed by a technical interview round 1, by a single panelist, my panelist worked in Regulations so mostly my questions were regarding regulations, IFRS or GAAP, it is okay if you don't know the exact answer, but knew the crux. From IFRS, it shifted to BASEL norms and a couple of ratios, and this was an easy round.
Another technical interview, dual panel, followed this. This was a stress interview, they grilled as much as they could, question after question, be it the most random ones, a case study or regarding my CV. What mattered was you holding your grit and still being curious to learn, enthusiasm.
After all of that it was a general HR interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Gave me a situation to manage a portfolio out of a capital of 50lacs, what sectors will I pick and why.
The process was one of my best process thus far. I liked the fact that you would not be able to proceed to the numerical tests and the interviews if you had failed the other blocks (situational etc). This means that you don't waste time on a video interview for an assessment you failed anyway.
It took me a while to hear back but I assume it is because some people were already being considered through assessment centres.
I applied online. I interviewed at Deutsche Bank (Mumbai)
Interview
It was a moderately difficult interview. Combination of technical and experience related questions. 2 levels of interview. One by immediate manager and next by head of the department. Job responsibilities were clearly mentioned during the interview. smooth process in general.
