The process took 1 day. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Glenview, IL) in Feb 2011
Interview
Interview with one of the managers. Questions like what are your three best traits, three worst traits. I said for worst three traits was that I can't remember the three traits. I talked to another manager for a few minutes about what the job would entail. The store manager was out of town, but if present you will speak with the store manager.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods in Oct 2011
Interview
I applied to Dick's Sporting Goods for a cashier position at the end of August 2011 and landed an interview in the first week of Oct. 20ll. The interview was very basic and extremely quick, took less than 10 mins. My interviewer was nice but appeared as if she did not know what questions to ask. There were long awkward pauses between questions. Other than that my overall experience, I can say it was one of the easiest interviews I had ever done. I would have loved to work there because the staff seemed very nice and a fun group to work with.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods in Mar 2010
Interview
I filled out an application and got called back. Interviewer asked usual questions like what my biggest strengths/weaknesses were. Also asked about my experience with sports and if I was knowledgeable about a range of sports/sporting goods.
