I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Cranberry Twp, PA) in Aug 2011
Interview
Very easy, went in and sat down in a small office with one manager, usually your department manager, and simple interview questions to get to know you, your experience in your department, how you can be of value, etc. Brought a resume from my racing experience but the manager didn't even ask or care that I had it. Hiring manager was a young male so it wasn't hard to get along and "hit it off" with a young male manager (im a male) who likes the same sports as you

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Columbus, GA) in Jan 2012
Interview
Very simple and straight to the point. They did not ask me any trivial questions about the company, other than why did I want to be apart of it. The manager who interviewed me was very nice.
