I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Murfreesboro, TN) in May 2013
Interview
It's a two part interview, that first interview s a series of questions that you will answer. Provided you don't say something the raises flags, you return for a second interview which is the more regular 'sit down, shakes hands, tell me about yourself' style. Having conducted interview myself since being hired, what we look for is someone that seeks direction and wants to stay busy, not just being able to follow directions.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Madison, WI) in Feb 2015
Interview
2 day process. First interview fielded most questions, many of which were team and sports based. Questions were relatively easy and straightforward. Offered position at end of second interview. Met with two different managers. Store manager usually performs second interview and decides if they wish to hire, but he was unavailable. Needless to say it wasn't very difficult to get the job, and I don't think it would have mattered for him to even be there.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Moon Township, PA)
Interview
I was brought into the corporate headquarters for an in-person interview after a phone interview, and spoke with members of three different departments who I would interface with. After discussing the basics of the positions and my experience, we took a tour of the corporate campus. The tour included walking through various conference rooms that I would be responsible for supporting, as well as some of the amenities that I would have access to as an employee (such as gym access, and the on-campus cafeteria, coffee shop, and bank).
