I applied through college or university. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods
Interview
The interview process took place on my college campus. The interview took place about a month after they came for the career fair. It was two separate interviews that were thirty minutes each. The first male interviewer was from HR and the second was a merchandiser. Look up Dicks in the news recently for good questions to ask

Question 1
Why do you want to work for our company? Can you use excel? Name a time you missed a deadline?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Grand Rapids, MI) in May 2014
Interview
It was two rounds of interviews, one with the manager and one with the head of the store. Both were thirty minutes long, and I found out in the second interview that I got the job. It was nothing too hard, just basic description of resume and what you wanted out of it. Also want experience you had it each field of sales at DSG. The second interview was a little intimidating but it ended up going well once it was obvious that I had the job. Just go into it confident and honest about what you want out of the job and you'll be fine for sure. At one point in the interview I had to read a phrase about customer service and say what it meant to me. That was honestly probably the hardest part about it all. But like I said, after that it wasn't bad.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Cranberry Twp, PA) in May 2014
Interview
Standard interview with typical 'name a time' questions. They email you to set up a time to have an interview. The general consensus is that as long as you don't completely fail the interview then you will get the job. It's hard to not get it once you have the interview.
