I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Olathe, KS) in Sep 2016
Interview
I was called and answered a few questions from the manager before being asked about my availability. Once I came in, I interviewed with that same manager. At the end of the interview, he asked if I could fill out a 15 minute personality questionnaire and then asked me to return for a second interview in which I did. The second interview was with a different manager but almost identical to the first.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2016
Interview
Applied online and called within two days of submitting the application. The day after I received an email with an interview date. Met with a manager two days after and he asked 3 questions and hired me on the spot. The process and interview are easy. Just go in and be yourself. If you really love sports, they will hire you. No retail experience required.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods in May 2014
Interview
They asked questions about my core values that were very fair and reasonable. The interview made it clear that they are looking for people who care about athletics and work well on teams. The entire process consisted of two relatively short interviews. I also liked that they didn't care as much about what was on my resume as who I was. The company understands that is not 100% necessary to require sales experience to work there but other companies think so and would rather hire someone who may not be a good person but had a sales job in the past.
