I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Lees Summit, MO) in Jun 2013
Interview
The interview process was pretty painless and went quickly. Applied online, got the call to be interviewed and hired within two weeks. Met first with the hard lines manager and then had a second interview with the store manager. Both were really friendly and easy-going. They appreciated that I didn't wear workout clothes to an interview, even though the working dress code is workout attire.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Frederick, MD) in Sep 2016
Interview
The whole process took about a week. I was called and asked if I could come in for an interview, they worked around my full time job and actually did both interviews all at once, just had to sit in the break room for about 10 minutes for the store manager to interview me. During the first interview I was taken to a computer to do a pretty easy personality test. Basic interview questions for the first interview, the second interview was the manager looking me in my eyes when asking questions that weren't on their paperwork

I applied online. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Niles, IL)
Interview
It was a pretty basic interview, nothing special. The application took a very short time to complete and you can even apply for multiple positions throughout the store. They tell you which positions are hiring, so that makes it easier to see what they're looking for. I received a call for the interview less than 24 hours later.
