Received email from recruiter 1.5 months after applying asking to set up a 30 min phone screen. Then received a Codility coding test which was a DS case study and took ~4 hours. Had a technical interview with DS manager where we discussed the coding test. Had a virtual onsite consisting of 4 interviews with DS team + PM. Afterwards, was called back for another interview, presumably because of borderline performance. Received a rejection email a day later. Interview process took <1 month.
Recruiter seemed unprofessional in their communication, and process was somewhat disorganized. My interactions during interviews were all positive, but I felt like the process was inefficient. I was asked some of the same questions/case studies 3-4 times, yet was not rejected until the final round.
Interviews were all very conversational (focus on case studies, behavioral, and resume-related questions) and did not assess much technical knowledge.
