Interview
Hi Guys,
I recently applied for this role in Crossover. i have gone through the following rounds:
1. After creating my profile, i got Test link on my personnel email id.
2. After 2 weeks of completing the test, got mail that i made it and u r one of the 5% of the total candidates.
3. They send my application to Market Place where Hiring Manager can see it.
For this whole process, i waited for more than 2 months. finally, i sent the mail to crossover for my application status. they replied my application status is still active, so in upcoming days u will get call for interview.
Guess what? Next Morning got another mail saying u r REJECTED. I was simply amazed that i was so eager for this role but these guys rejected even without taking my interview. so this is the general approach Crossover follows to break hope of any candidate.
Here is my very very bad experience with crossover. There is one closing line for Crossover - "Please don't judge anybody only by his/her experience, he/she may have more knowledge than u expect. please be transparent and fair with each and every candidate who thinks to work for you".
Sorry i cant disclose my name cos some issues.
Thanks for Rejecting me. Hope Crossover think on that.
Thank you.

They start with huge online test which consists of multiple parts. The problem is that the questions of the first online test are crooked - I can tell that easily having over 16 years in hands on coding experience, most of the questions have no option to correctly answer them.
Once I "failed" I was immediately redirected to a sponsor offering some shady online subscription services to "improve" technicals skills.
Hello and thank you for your feedback regarding our testing process. Our testing process is designed to help us identify the top talent around the world. You mention that the testing is 'crooked'. I would be interested to know more about that, as well as help you to understand any questions you may have. If you would like to learn more or discuss these issues, please reach out to feedback@crossover.com. Thanks, and we look forward to hearing from you!
Once I applied, I got a link to a test. The test was 3 levels.
1. 5 Basic java questions in 5 minutes. (Passing score is 4/5)
2. 50 Questions (10 personal + 40 technical) in 70 minutes.
3. Audio recording with your own voice - up to 2 minutes - answering a question (just for testing your accent and how do you express in English).
I passed first 2 levels and recorded the audio.
In an hour I got sorry you didn't pass. However I got 4/5 and 35/50 in first 2 tests. (And mentioned that I have passed for each test).
I don't actually know how they measure the score and why I didn't pass as long as I passed technical tests.
