      Account Executive Interview

      Apr 11, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Saco, ME
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I interviewed at Crossover for Work (Saco, ME) in Mar 2020

      Interview

Did not make it to a “human” interview. The prescreen test was SAT style on steroids. Total waste of time. It was a timed test that required you to answer 50 questions in 15 min.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Example: You have five bottles of pills. One bottle has 9 gram pills; the others have 10 gram pills. You have a scale that can be used only once. How can you find out which bottle contains the 9 gram pills?

I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Crossover for Work

      Interview

Long-winded English language proficiency tasks. Multiple hours of camera-on assessment. For a position requiring experience this seems redundant and off putting. There were also pattern continuation problems which were literally just prime number sequences which I’m sure any candidate (other than me, obviously) would just google.

      Interview

Don’t waste your time applying for any of their jobs. I should have read all these reviews before I did. I also should have seen the “guaranteed on-target earnings of $200k/year” as a major red flag. But here I am. As soon as you apply you start some irrelevant assessments that take anywhere from 15 minutes to 3 hours depending on how far you get, before even talking to a human being about the job. If you don’t make it past a certain point during the assessments, they just say you failed and aren’t a good fit with no feedback whatsoever.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They ask you to complete a 50 question “cognitive assessment” within 15 minutes with problems that are irrelevant to the jobs.
