I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale (Dallas, TX)
Interview
Contacted by a very blunt recruiter (she never introduced herself, I assume that's what she did) and told to apply for the new store under "all positions" then they would organize an interview. Similar to others below my experience etc was not taken into account and I was told I'd be interviewed for a marketing representative. After the initial interview I was offered another interview and finally they answered questions about pay. Sorry to sound ungrateful but the pay was insulting with 10+ years multi-unit experience with 20+ direct reports and the whole process was awful and I was treated with a clear air of arrogance.

Question 1
Usual basic interview questions. Not sure they were even listening to be honest. They clearly didn't read my resume.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale (Manteca, CA) in Aug 2013
Interview
Apply. Drop off resume. Go talk to Management. Called for Interview. Asked to go to second Interview. Take Drug Test. Hiring process completed.
If you have an employee within the store or company your are about 50% more likely to get offered and interview then if you do not have someone on the inside.

Question 1
What is one of the biggest things you have done to insure a positive costumer experience?
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale (Mount Laurel, NJ) in Oct 2016
Interview
It was all a show. They wanted just another body for their seasonal period and they were very vague about the job description. Asked questions about past employment but wouldn't tell you anything about the job; to be accurate they told you how long would be working and how quick your hours would be cut or when you would be laid off.

Question 1
They presented hypothetical situations and how I would react.
