I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Coach (Paramus, NJ) in Oct 2014
Interview
Came in well dressed and knew someone who worked there. And asked if they were hiring and was given an application. Filled out on the spot and the manager looked at my application and set up a interview on the spot. Sat down with the store manager and was simple asked me simple questions. Then later in the week called about getting the job. And sat down and filled out the paper work and had orientation.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Coach (New York, NY)
Interview
The process took weeks on end including several emails, phone conversations and a few meetings. First a phone conversation with HR, then was called for a personal interview with hiring manager. I ended up meeting another HR person before the actual interview and then the supervisor, and then another person in a similar position as the one I was applying to. They were all very nice... What wasn't nice is that they promised repeatedly to be in touch when a decision was made but they never did. Quite unprofessional given that people take a lot of time and energy to attend interviews and follow up. I would not recommend applying here as the interview process shows how disorganized and uncaring this company is and I prefer to work for companies that are more professional.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Coach in Sep 2013
Interview
Hiring process was fairly quick. Played phone tag with the store manager a few days. The interview with the store manager had typical interview questions, a role play was required. The interview with the district manager focused on the outfit I wore to the interview and knowledge of fashion industry rather than selling capabilities.
