It was really easy. You could interview online or in person. I decided to interview in person. The questions related to different aspects of the job. I had to explain how my past experience would benefit in my job. After the interview I had to wait for a few weeks before I was offered the position.

Question 1
What is your experience with working with students.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at City Year (Philadelphia, PA) in May 2013
Interview
The process was relatively quick, but I think that depends on when you submit your application. After submitting, you will schedule a phone interview. For me that lasted 30 minutes. It was relatively simple and was mostly a process of making sure that you understood what city year was. Afterward, if you were selected to move on, I went to a in person interview though I believe for others, they did web-interviews. That was also pretty typical. They focused more on you giving examples of team work, conflicts, past experience with education, dealing with more experienced or less experienced co-workers, etc.
