I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Cintas (Troy, MI) in Oct 2023
Interview
Multi-step process that takes months to complete. Minimum of four interviews. They have an interview structure and set questions, but don't seem to use them. Questions come "from the gut" and rarely have anything to do with the position itself. They care more about "fit" and the appearance of professionalism than previous performance.
Phone screening then a week later, in person with the gm. Then a week later zoom with the director. Then the week after that was zoom with the gvp. I got an offer 24 hours after my last interview.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Cintas (Maywood, IL) in Aug 2024
Interview
Recruiter very nice and engaging. Had a great first call was asked to move forward to an onsite interview. I showed up 10 minutes early but the interviewer (would be my peer if I had gotten the roll) pulled me 15 minutes after the interview started with no acknowledgment that he was late or delayed. He asked me a few questions but didn’t even listen to my responses. As soon as I would finish my thought he would already have the page turned and asking the next question (almost cutting me off at one point to get to the next question). He was extremely unprofessional and needs some training on interviewing skills. Talked poorly about his employees quite a bit. Also spoke so much about his prior role it felt like I was in an interview for that company instead. Most unprofessional experience I have ever had.
