I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cintas (Macomb, MI) in Jun 2019
Interview
First interview was over the phone just asking some basic interview questions, second interview was in person with the service supervisor, after that they set me up with a ride along to see how I liked the position, then had me interview with another manager right after the ride along and then to the general manager. Still awaiting to hear back on the offer.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cintas (Denver, CO) in May 2019
Interview
worst interview process ever bring you in for an interview which went okay and they tell you they'll call you which I received a phone call two days later said I needed to go on a route ride should I go on my route ride that goes pretty cool guy went with he was a cool guy just started two months earlier they threw him right out to the Wolves said that even have 12 weeks of training with the only got two so I do 12 hours 12 and 1/2 hours on this ride along do 90% of the work busting in my rear end at the end of the day they asked me how I liked it tell him it's alright I was still interested they tell me. Give me a call back with the next interview schedule they call me back later on that night tell me I got a final interview here with the one other guy and then I'd have a final interview with the GM the same day so I show up for my my interview think everything goes great with the young guy he told me all the GM's not in will call you back and let you know when when we can get you in for the final interview I got a voicemail from my recruiter saying that they have decided to go into a different direction I say okay fine that's fine when will I get paid for this route ride never hear back from the lady never hear back I called several people including the HR representative talk to them and left messages never hear nothing back from any of them finally I call and get ahold of the HR she's in she said all you need to fill out some paperwork I said paperwork they never said nothing about no paperwork no I didn't fill out paperwork she said well you need to come down and fill out paperwork and it takes about two weeks to process this and it's $80 for this route ride I tell her $80 they told me it was $20 an hour $80 for 12 and 1/2 hours I'm working hard that's less than minimum wage that's like six bucks a little over six bucks an hour you crazy I would have never went on this route right for six bucks an hour all to be denied a job and then just giving strung along for the last 2-3 weeks this place is horrible don't interview with them unless your little butt kisser
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Cintas
Interview
Very long process. First is the computer program application that removes minimum requirements and criminal offenses. Next is phone interview by either low level HR, service manager, or on rare occasion GM. Next is in person interview by one of the previously mentioned. In person is almost always followed by 2 more one on one in person interviews and on occasion a 3 on one. After a round table discussion of management you make it to a field ride along with someone already in that role (usually a high performer or a corporate Kool-Aid drinker). Somewhere in the middle they will give you a personality profile test (they usually what A type) and an intelligence test. If they give you the thumbs up a final interview to see if you are on the same page still and to double check what they want to do for salary. Yes they can change your starting pay, don't let them fool you. This process can take 2 to 8 weeks depending on how bad they need to fill a void.
