Question 1
Name a time you encountered a challenge and what you did to overcome it
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cintas (Windsor, CT) in May 2025
Interview
Applied to the management trainee position after meeting and connecting with a fellow trainee during a career fair at my university. After I submitted the application, they took about a month to get back to me to schedule a phone screening. After scheduling the phone interview the hiring manager kept rescheduling it and the day of the interview, the manager didn’t even show up and someone from a different location conducted my interview. They did not specify how in depth this initial phone screening would be. I assumed it would be a 15-30 minute call but ended up being more than 45 minutes. Wish they told me ahead of time how in depth this interview would be. The person conducted the interview asked me a lot of questions and kept talking and talking. After the interview she said she would get back to me in 3 business days and let me know. It has been a month and have not heard anything. Very unprofessional and frustrating with the amount of preparation I put on my application.

Question 1
How do you handle working with difficult people? Name a time where you had to work with them and how you overcame that?
One in-person interview and the rest were over Teams. The management is really nice and supportive and are really just looking to see if you're a good fit for their culture.
