Felt like an interrogation... Kept asking the same question just a bunch of different ways. I didn't like the overall feeling And felt uncomfortable. Asked the interviewer two questions at the end and she couldn't properly answer them.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you handled an irritated customer.
Recruiter reached out at 6 pm asking if I was available early the next day for a 15 min screening. I replied I was not and asked for alternate times and didn't receive a response. Followed up a few days later and received a response & scheduled a time, this time saying it's a 10 minute call. Day off, recruiter calls 10 minutes before scheduled time and it was evident it was the first time she'd looked at my resume in that moment based on the questions she asked. She cut me off mid going into my background and said my experience didn't fit and that was it. The call lasted 4 minutes. Didn't even get to hear more about the company, the role itself, etc. It honestly just felt like a waste of time and more so like the recruiter just scheduled personal time to look at my resume in those moments and I just happened to be there.
The company reached out to me on the same day of my application for a screening interview, which proceeded smoothly. However, after assessing the offered salary range, I made the decision not to proceed with scheduling the formal interview.
