Interview
Recruiter Screening:
Standard
Coding Assessment:
4 questions, easy, easy, matrix, hard
I got the first 2 completely correct and passed 2 tests in Q3. Was asked to attend the next round.
Power Day:
Tech 1 - Live coding, was told not to look up anything not even documentation, which threw me off. The question was banking-related and they kept adding more requirements and being vague when I asked questions.
Tech 2 - System design for a credit card system. Asked what tech stack you would use. No coding.
Behavioral - asked 3 basic STAR questions so go very in-depth.
Case - Given a tech operations business scenario. Asked to make recommendations and explain the pros and cons. Basic maths but pay attention to edge cases that may impact calculations. Was shown code and had to identify errors.

Interview
I received a call from a recruiter, immediately scheduled the tech screen -- 4 Code Signal questions in 70 minutes, 2 easy, a medium, a hard. When I passed, we scheduled the "Power Day." In the meantime, I spoke with a Tech Ambassador about company culture. A few days prior to Power Day, the recruiter sent me very detailed instructions about what to expect including what to study and how to prepare; everything but the questions themselves. A day prior I got the schedule, though I didn't know which type of tech interview to expect for which hour. The 4.5-hour (with half hour break) Power Day was remote, but relatively grueling for me.
I found the coding and architecture questions to be relatively straightforward, even fun. The last two got harder; the final question was not explained well and had typos in the code that were not the bugs being sought after.
I have to say, the recruitment process was all but perfect. The recruiter went well out of his way to keep me as informed as possible, even apologizing for not having an answer less than a day after Power Day ended. He also called me with the rejection. If every recruiter were as good as he is, the tech world would be a better place.
