The online application is where you will start. HR recruiters (most of which are contractors) will review and pre-screen applicants and forward the resumes of those that may fit a particular role. Managers will bring in the individual for an initial interview, where HR will review and typically multiple people within the interviewing department will interview and provide feedback as well.
