HR from CGI reached me over phone and scheduled a F2F interview over the weekend. I asked if it could be a telephonic , HR convinced me for F2F by promising that all rounds would be completed the same day and if selected , offer the following week. 3 rounds ..2 Technical and 1 HR . Attended the interview on a weekend and cleared the first round . The interviewer recommended me for a senior role and the HR apologized for being not able to process the further rounds on the same day since the interviewer recommended me for a senior role and the Senior panel is not available the same day. I left for the day and there was no response ever since from the HR. After N number of follow ups and after I gave up after 15 days, the HR called me out of the blue , apologized again and requested me to attend the second round on a weekday . I somehow made excuses at office and attended the interview on a week day . The interview started One and Half hours behind the schedule with the Service Delivery manager. Second round is not much into technical , and more about understanding my current profile. They looked fine with my profile except that they wanted me to join in less than 15 days . I told them it's impossible since I am in a lead role in my current organization and also reminded them that they themselves wasted precious 15 days between 2 rounds of interview . HR said they would soon send a mail with the list of the documents required and after innumerable follow up with HR over Email. I got a one line mail saying that "Sorry for delay its reject"....This is the exact response I received. What baffles me is the apathy of the HRs and their lack of respect for the candidate's time. I'm no fresher willing to stand in long queues and wait endlessly . I'm working in a lead role with a reputed MNC . Overall my experience is pathetic , mainly due to the apathy of HRs
