Round 1 video invite, Round 2 codings assessment, python (pandas, how to merge datasets/ build machine learning models with sklearn), machine learning concepts, roc curve (what is a good roc curve etc), Bayesian statistics, probability.
I applied online. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group
Interview
First step was a quick and easy HR call. Then you have to pass an online coding challenge on Hacker Rank (120 minutes, 9 questions). After that you have a technical case interview and a business case interview. I did not get past this stage but I think after that you have an additional panel interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Your client is in the chemical manufacturing industry. How would you help them reduce their emissions using AI and Machine Learning?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group in Mar 2021
Interview
2 hour coding round- rather straightforward
1 45 min data science case interview
1 45 min business case interview
3 45 min data science case interview
You need to get a yes from every person throughout the process. I think that although knowing your stats/ML is important, that will not be the ultimate factor in getting an offer. You have to be good at explaining what you're doing and having that "consultant" presence about you.
