The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Boeing (Ridley Park, PA) in Aug 2011
Interview
Initially I applied on 6/27. I had been called and was told to expect an interview in mid July. It was canceled with a note that it would be rescheduled. After following up, I was sent a new appt for a phone conference interview on 8/9. Interview was a panel group with hiring manager and two others. Consisted of STAR behavioral questions. Group was very nice. Was told I was the first to interview, and that whoever they choose that have the most points, would be called back for the second interview, and most likely be the one for the position. Called back 8/17 and told to come in next day for the second interview. Met with hiring manager and one other, and was very informal interview and walk around the manufacturing floor. Two weeks later, phone call from Boeing telling me offer was up on the BESS site. Drug test sent out via FedEx and came the next morning.

What was the most challenging event in which you had to deal with diversity?
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Boeing in May 2009
Interview
The interviews are structured, which means that each interviewee is asked the same questions (so you may get a call later so you can have the opportunity to answer a question that came up in another interview. Some questions were behavioral, e.g. "Describe a time when you had to work with a difficult person." also asked were some experience-specific questions, such as "describe your experience with designing and qualifying a new part." Also had a question about working with a diverse team & willingness to do paperwork. Most of the interviewers were very friendly, but one was very serious and professional.
