I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Boeing
Interview
They went over the basic STAR procedure and asked me several questions concerning engineering in general. They expected me to relate the questions back to my experience in labs and at work. The interview was fairly straightforward and easy to comprehend. As long as you remember Situation, Task, Action and Result, you should be fine.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Boeing
Interview
I was given the run around for this company. The upper management were very helpful, but the people doing the actual interview were not. I was contacted and given 1 day to prepare for an interview so I of course was not ready.
It was nothing special as an interview process. They asked some behavioral questions, some questions about problems I had faced while coding, and what work I had done with User Interfaces. I talked about projects I had worked on at school. There were no especially tricky or difficult questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The most difficult question was explaining my knowledge of UIs. Even though I have never taken a UI specific computer science course, I think my answer was still satisfactory. I talked about the UI I had done in other classes and on my own.
