I applied online. I interviewed at Biogen (Raleigh, NC) in Oct 2018
Interview
Group interview first with peers then with managers. Very friendly and considerate. Asked the expected questions and allowed time for me to ask questions. Received valuable answers to my questions. Some in the group were very quiet, seemed it may have been their first time in an interview.
Terribly put together interview process for an entry level position.
Everyone seemed frenetic, running around with their heads cut off. Got weird creepy vibes from people. Also an air of elitism, not seen at other pharma companies. There was abundance of chat about how great the people are there but it seemed like there were plenty of people talking about how they didn't like another person or another group. Chatting about drama like that to an interview candidate is laughable and clear giveaway of the culture at Biogen. Senior management seems awfully detached from people as well and are drinking some sort of kool aid

Question 1
Nothing was difficult. Some questions showed they weren't listening
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Biogen (Cambridge, MA) in Jan 2017
Interview
HR called first to discuss the position, compensation package, and working authority. The hiring manager met me in person afterwards. They seemed that they needed someone to fill the position urgently. However, they suddenly became silent and updated me the status until 3 months later when I sent an email to the manager. They organized a one-day on-site interview (totally five candidates for this position). On-site interview included seminar plus meeting with current employees.
