Interview
The first Phone screening happened on last week of March with the hiring manager. The second interview was a technical SQL white boarding via webex happened a week after. This time it was more of a panel interview (7-8 people) and I wasn’t told that it will be a panel interview. So anyways it was an hour SQL white boarding which I did good. Then after a week’s follow up I was told that the team is finishing up other interviews. This update continued for almost a month. Then I was informed that I am one of the top choice and there are multiple roles with different other teams and I have to appear for another interview with another hiring manager. This time again there was phone screening (technical and behavioural) with couple of members from that team. Following week (May 1st week) I receive a rejection mail saying they got a stronger candidate. They had applied my profile through 3-4 position and suddenly they got candidates to fill all of their positions, seemed unrealistic. Felt like wasted a lot of time with them.

Interview
A recruiter reached out to me and I had a 30 minute phone conversation with her a few days later. They followed by with another 30 minute phone call with the two managers on the team. They were super nice and we scheduled a 2 hour on-site interview broken up in 30/60/
30 minute segments followed by a tour of the building. Everyone was very pleasant until I met with the Analyst's for the technical portion. I was routinely interrupted, clarifying questions were ignored, and the case study variety was lacking. They asked me a very granular question on a promotion strategy piece that I was unaware of. After saying I wasn't familiar, they smirked and said "well, I guess that's it." We sat in near silence for 15 minutes until the next portion of the interview started. It was honestly the most condescending and annoying interview experience of my life. I was 50/50 on if the position was even right for me, but I'm not going to wait for a response from them as I've written them off.
