I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Bed Bath & Beyond in Oct 2013
Interview
Simple, straightforward, laid back. I only interviewed with the operations manager, not the GM or anyone else. The ops manager explained to me what the job entailed and stressed the fact that I had to be completely comfortable with climbing up and down 10-12 ft. ladders regularly. (I lied and said I was perfectly fine with it and it took me about 2-3 weeks of practice to be OK with it) They asked about how I would handle difficult customers, what I liked/disliked about my previous jobs, pretty basic questions like that. I also had to do this over-the-phone multiple choice survey thing that assessed my personality and work ethics. I wasn't asked any "trick questions" like "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" The interview lasted about 20 minutes and I was hired on the spot.

I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bed Bath & Beyond (Frederick, MD)
Interview
They asked me a bunch of questions, I guess to see if I could uphold the culture they stand by. I was asked to sell them a pen. It was really silly, but I got the job.
