I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Bayer (Londres, Inglaterra)
Interview
Interview took a long time. First after submission on the company job portal it took a couple of month for hr to set up a screen call. After that it was a presentation scheduled onsite. Meeting many possible program leaders and scientists. After that manager and hr came back with an offer. Overall it took 8 month from sending application to landing on site. Positive experience.
I applied for a scientist and associate scientist position at Bayers. Both located in Bay area. First interview with Dr Tsai, second Dr Chen. Both times felt like they already have someone. Therefore first one last 12 min, second 20 min. Second was funny, guy was trying to dissuade me from the position.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bayer (Sacramento, CA) in May 2015
Interview
Very casual process. Was given a tour of the facility then 30 min interviews with several people from the team. Each team member was given my resume and we discussed past projects I was involved in. The interview felt more like a conversation and was very natural. After the interview I met with the team leader to discuss the next steps in the process. About a month later I got a phone call with an offer for a position within the team.
