I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bayer in May 2015
Interview
The company flew me over the night before the interview. I had dinner with the host and another higher level employee. I gave a presentation to a group, followed by one-on-one interview spanning over one day. A small group of associates had lunch with me.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bayer (Saint Louis, MO) in Jan 2015
Interview
Interview with small groups - all with ask behavioral based questions like robots. Really should leave interviewing to management and hr, not the actual team. Management should have enough skills to find people that have the skills needed and personality to fit into the team dynamic the manager wants to achieve.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bayer (Berkeley, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
I had one interview for an hour. I met with my future supervisor where she asked typical interview questions, some technical questions relating to the job description, and for an explanation on my past work experiences. Afterwards, I had a lab tour and a group interview with other coworkers I would be working with. The group interview was to get a feel for if I was compatible with the group of people. I heard back by the end of the week and was given a week to accept the offer.
