Received an email after applying to the position online a couple weeks earlier. Emailed stated I was selected for an in-depth panel interview a month from then. There was mention specifically of a presentation I needed to prepare for a panel of interviewers. The presentation would be 10 minutes, describing why I would be the best fit for the position. A week before the interview I received anther email with details: It would be a two day interview process with dinner/socializing the first night, and an interview all the next day, they offered to cover the cost of travel and overnight accommodations in a hotel.
The first night there was a dinner with several other candidates, and 6 Bayer employees. It was at a nice restaurant and they paid, it was an informal atmosphere of getting to know one another. The next day the interview process lasted 4 hours. Arrived and interview process was round-robin style. The interviews were: 2on1, 1on1, 4on1 (presentation), and another 1on1. After the interviews a free lunch was offered on-site. After lunch, all the candidates were given a tour of the facility.
As for the interviews, they were relatively easy, mostly trying to get to know me.
Two days after interview received a non-personalized email saying I was not chosen for the position.
