Very in depth questions analyzing me as a person, very beneficial. Learned a lot about the company and different ways to go about interviewing. They were very welcome and not intimidating at all.
Received notification of phone screen interview for field sales position. The interview was pretty straightforward. They asked for coaching or officiating experience in the interview which I never knew were important qualifications for a sales rep. Apparently they care more about your possible existing connections more than your real world sales experiences.
The HR person continued several times to make strange noises in the background when I would start speaking. Very unprofessional.
I followed up my interview with several questions that we could not address because I was being considerate of the interviewer and our 30 min time limit. That email went unanswered for over a week. I then got a rjection email from HR which said I did not meet the qualifications of the position ... if that were true why did you interview someone in the first place? SHouldn't that have been decided before screening someone on the phone.
I can see why this company receives mediocre scores from people.

Question 1
They are very concerned that you have coaching or officiating experience. These are very key qualifications for a sales person. LOL.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at BSN Sports (Farmers Branch, TX) in Aug 2018
Interview
Pretty simple phone interview first with an in person, 3 man panel interview a week later. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly interviewers. Basic interview questions. The whole process from initial interview to start date was 2 weeks.
