Good interview, asked in detail and good understanding. Good technical questions , asked about why I wanted a change. Interviewing way was good, nice discussion overall. Asked about my expectations as well.
I applied online. I interviewed at Autodesk in Jan 2021
Interview
Very arbitrary hiring process. First time I applied, got an email from technical recruiter asking to schedule a phone screen. Recruiter seemed impressed and ended the call on a positive note telling me to expect a response 'soon'. Radio silence for three weeks and then got a response (only after two email prompts from my side) saying the position had been filled by a more qualified candidate (I understand this). The recruiter encouraged me to be on the lookout for more positions since they are expanding.
A month later I applied to a new position with the same title and then radio silence for two months. Until finally receiving an auto-generated rejection email. Worst part ? They sent me detailed interview feedback surveys twice!!!
I'm confounded by how such a company with reputable software products has such a shoddy hiring process.
