Applied online heard back 1+ week later , quick phone interview asked what I knew about argos and offered me a interview for two days later, interview was very casual. I got the job offer 2 days later
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Argos (Coventry, Inglaterra) in Oct 2017
Interview
First there was a phone call, relatively quick... It was my first interview and I wasn't even prepared, but it went fine. Very friendly staff.
Followed by a group interview. Straightforward stuff, we were split into small groups, asked to find out information about the other people in our group and then introduce them to the rest of the groups. Some people forgot names/details, but as long as you go in confident, they're likely to hire you. We then had to role play with a 'difficult' customer who had forgotten the name of a toy, and we had to help them figure out what it was and sell it to them.
Finally, we created an Argos advert, and presented it. As long as you contribute to the group, and say your part aloud to the group, you are very likely to get hired! (I had no experience and this was my first telephone interview / group interview, and I'm naturally quite shy.)
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Argos (Dublín, Dublín) in Oct 2017
Interview
Applied online. Received an email to complete an online assessment, which was just rating how to react to different scenarios on a scale. Not too hard. Got an email a couple of days later about a phone interview then got an email about attending a full interview the following day in store (Dublin). I received a call the next day to say I had the job.
Interview wasn’t too difficult and was made feel comfortable. Some basic questions and some scenario based. Overall relatively easy interview and easy to prepare for if you do a little online research.
