Arcadis interview questions

Three stages selection. First interview on the phone, I am told the salary on offer and the contractual arrangements I could choose. Second interview in person with a manager plus the HR manager connected via zoom. Third interview via zoom with senior directors and Italy Ceo . All very positive, I receive a job offer, the salary though is 35% lower than initially announced; understandably, I ask for an explanation. The HR manager disappears and refuses any call nor replies to emails. I get therefore in touch with the senior directors, who make up excuses up to declaring that the job is no longer on offer. Few days later the very same job description is again available online. Very disappointing professional and human experience. Really unbelievable when I think that this is a multinational company which should follow best practices starting with the hiring process.

Wouldnt bother with Arcadis, extremely long hiring process of like 4 months, I interviewed for this role initially - was told im successful in the first stage and then moved over to case study interview. All of a sudden im told that im not a fit for this role and would be better suited for another role. Have a call with the hiring manager for a Principal Consultant role, then get a case study interview. Pass that, but then they give me somewhat a verbal offer - but not to my expectations. Then they decline and say they have concerns for my suitability to the role and cant offer what i require considering i set the expectations at the start of the process
