Interview
Three stages selection. First interview on the phone, I am told the salary on offer and the contractual arrangements I could choose. Second interview in person with a manager plus the HR manager connected via zoom. Third interview via zoom with senior directors and Italy Ceo . All very positive, I receive a job offer, the salary though is 35% lower than initially announced; understandably, I ask for an explanation. The HR manager disappears and refuses any call nor replies to emails. I get therefore in touch with the senior directors, who make up excuses up to declaring that the job is no longer on offer. Few days later the very same job description is again available online. Very disappointing professional and human experience. Really unbelievable when I think that this is a multinational company which should follow best practices starting with the hiring process.

Interview
Three steps. In the first one I am told that the salary offered . I progress to the third level and get a job offer, 30% lower than previously announced. I ask for clarification. I get ghosted .
Personal interview with a related party. Phone interview followed by a lunch appointment with direct report. Personal interview with department heads. Personal interview with team leads. Follow up discussions with direct report on outstanding items. Phone calls (several) followed by month-long offer discussion.
