I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Andersen in Jan 2014
Interview
Not the typical introduction to the firm. Was introduced to some partners through a connection. Stayed in touch and expressed interest and desire to work in public accounting. They set up an interview for me. Standard interview process, interviewed with 2 partners and a director. Interviews themselves were fairly standard, more conversational with a few questions about my resume mixed in. I made sure I asked questions to the partners about where they saw the firm going and what would be expected of a first year going in.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Andersen (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2015
Interview
Easy... some behavioral questions but just wanted to get to know you. Really nice people across the board from associates to MDs. Atmosphere was great. Some associates take you for lunch.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Andersen in Oct 2014
Interview
4-5 back to back interviews on the recruitment in October. No pressure, more personality oriented. Interviewers were interesting peiple with wealth of experience and did the most talking. Interviewers were open to my questions and gave straight forward answers. No specific tests were administered
