Amazon Software Engineer interview questions

After a friend employee referred me, I was contacted by email. A test schedule was set and an online test was conducted. After that initial screening, the team flew into the city to undergo several interviews with pre-selected candidates. It took the interviewers 4 hours to daisy chain and interview every candidate. Interviewers asked questions regarding personal life, computer science, and problems in general.

One phone interview and one onsite interview consisting of talking with five people. The phone interview was simple, just like chatting with a friend. The onsite was more serious, however the people were nice and the problems were reasonable. The decision was fast. I performed not well, so I failed.
