I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Londres, Inglaterra) in May 2016
Interview
6 months process, with a month between each step, far too long. They are very slow.
Had 3 phone interview based on their leadership principles, then made it to the interview day in their Holborn office. Had 5 meetings there, all very look alike, still based on leadrship principles.
Finally got rejected for being not convincing enough about data - which I am still not sure why.

Question 1
What would you have done differently in this or that occasion
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
They reached out to me for an interview.
The interviewer was almost 10 minutes late. Didn't apologized. He asked me three very general questions - a time where it was hard to make a decision as a PM, what's most difficult for me as a PM and what are the most important characteristic for a PM.
He didn't seem to care for the answers, wanted to finish the interview as fast as possible and was simply disrespectful.
When it was my turn to ask questions he answer in one or two words. When I said I have no more questions (who wants to ask questions like this??) he said "have a good weekend" and hung up the phone, basically to my face. It took about 20 minutes (though they ask you to plan for a 45-69 minutes call).
He was very disrespectful, rude and arrogant.
I didn't hear back (it's over a week now), even though their timeline to inform you if you passed or not is 2 business days.

a time where it was hard to make a decision as a PM, what's most difficult for me as a PM and what are the most important characteristic for a PM.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in May 2016
Interview
This was the first interview with the hiring manager and was a phone interview. I had a call with a recruiter first who explained the role and could not really talk about the product. On the interview, there is not much that can be said about the product or technology you would be working on. They also will not talk much about the market or customers they are building this product for. This makes it very difficult to ask good questions at the end of the interview.

Question 1
How do you come up with an "innovative idea"? For example, before the airplane people would have asked for a faster car, how do you come up with that airplane kind of idea?
