Entirely too much prep work to fit an interview into the Amazon "mold." 1) Recruiter screen - if you pass, go to next step 2) 65-min online assessment - if you pass, go to next step 3) Recruiter prep call 4) Initial interview - 1hr - if you pass, go to next step 5) Writing Assessment 6) 5-hr "loop" interviews The interview process is robotic, which leads me to believe you have to be robotic to work there. I was fine in my first 3 interviews. Bombed my last 2. Some of the folks seemed completely uninterested in the fact that they were interviewing me and like it was just something they were being forced to do. It would have been nice to be dropped before the 5hrs of interviewing if they had any inclination they weren't going to extend an offer - waste of their time and mine.
