Amazon Sales interview questions

Overall, terrible. Started with a phone screen with the recruiter. Then it went to phone screens with a team member. Ultimately, I heard confirming reports regarding the intense culture at Amazon so I pulled out. The actual interviews were fine but setting them up was a nightmare. Amazon, you really need to buy a calendar sync service/software such as Calendly or something similar. There were way too many back and forth emails trying to sync times and it was such a waste of time. Given Amazon's scale and wallet, this type of improvement should be a no brainer. I got the sense that things are done extremely inefficiently at AMZ based solely on the outdated process of booking a meeting. Secondly, the lag time between confirming a timeslot was too long. I had given times and slots only to receive confirmation 2 to 3 days later, in which those time slots were not available any more. I'm currently employed so I can't just block off large chunks out of my calendar in anticipation without drawing too much suspicion at work. Finally, I had received an interview to move on and they requested a few time slots. I decided to pull myself out of the interview process only to get an email a day later with a canned "Sorry, but we passed on you" response from them. Huh?

Over many months. Mostly professional, standard interviews. Final interview was odd and confirmed some of what we’ve all heard about the brutal Amazon culture. Also interviewer seemed tired, stressed and came across as curt and interested in winding it up as quickly as possible.
