I applied through other source. I interviewed at Amazon (Phoenix, AZ) in Aug 2020
Interview
2 interviews and questions were as described in the amazon preparation conference call held prior. Seemed pretty straight forward depending on your work experience. I have been in the work force for 15 years.

Question 1
Please describe where you had 2 underlying issues that presented a larger issue?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (New York, NY) in May 2020
Interview
I got hit up by a recruiter on LinkedIn. We hit it off. Great conversations. She felt I met the qualifications for the position. My second interview was scheduled with a member from the team. 1 minute before the interview I got an email saying the interviewer was running late and could I extend my time longer or would I like to reschedule? I rescheduled the interview.
Finally I had my interview. Questions asked was interesting and had nothing to do with my experience. I felt the interviewer was very inexperienced. It really turned me off.
I got a rejection letter with no explanation on why they were moving forward but the recruiter still wants to work with me on finding another positions.

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Amazon in Apr 2019
Interview
After receiving the initial email from the internal recruiter, I went through 3 rounds of interviews with employees - titles varied from mid-senior (director) level. Background, situational and behavioral questions.
I received an offer soon after my last interview. After receiving the offer it was incredibly difficult to reach the recruiter for clarifications regarding the role; took 2 reminders and 2 weeks for them to get back.
