Interview
The recruiting process was well organized and responses were quite timely. The loop-sessions were quite tedious given I met with 4 groups for about an hour each. All the interviewers were respecful and conscious of time.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Londres, Inglaterra) in Nov 2022
Interview
The negative aspects primarily revolved around the behavior and demeanor of the hiring manager.
From the onset, the hiring manager was notably late to the interview. Punctuality is a basic professional courtesy, and the tardiness set an unprofessional tone for the entire interaction. Despite being aware of the scheduled time, the manager's lack of timeliness demonstrated a disregard for the value of the candidate's time.
Moreover, the manager's demeanor throughout the interview was cold and detached. There was a distinct lack of warmth or engagement, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. It felt as though the manager was disinterested and not fully present during the conversation. This lack of enthusiasm from a key decision-maker raises concerns about the company culture and its commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for any leadership role, and unfortunately, these were lacking in this particular hiring manager. A successful interview process is not only about evaluating the candidate but also about presenting the company in a positive light.
While I appreciate the opportunity to interview with Amazon, I believe that a more respectful and engaging interview process would better reflect the company's values and contribute to a more positive candidate experience.
Very painful process. I found HR very helpful, but was then screened by someone who was clearly not paying attention (multi-tasking?), and asked me for examples of things I had just shared. I pointed out how passionate I was about aspects of the position (as evidenced by recent higher-ed programs I'd completed), and she said she hadn't noticed that. I'm not sure if they already had a candidate and were just checking boxes with me, but that's how it seemed.
