I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Amazon in Mar 2022
Interview
It was a four back-to-back interviews. 100% of the questions were about the 12 leadership principles. I did not get asked any case study / product questions. In each interview segment I got asked 4 behavioral questions.
During the interview the interviewer is jotting down what you say, and one thing they kept on asking was regarding data- For example, “what data points did you analyze to do that” “did you look to any other data points.”
As a result, I suggest you only come up with stories that include heavy data analysis.
Additionally, having 4 stories per principle might sound like overkill but it’s very important to have 4 stories for the important categories.
I went to Q&A for this role and they said that frugality and the 2 new principles are not a main focus. I did not get asked any questions from these main categories.
MAIN TAKEAWAY: creat data driven stories for the leadership principles.
