The recruiters were the best thing about the interview process. They really try to help prepare you for the interview, The interview process was long and tedious. Going through 5-6 rounds of interviews with different people, which takes 6 hours of your day/time. Also interviewed with someone who had no correspondence or relation to the position.

Question 1
Behavioral questions about situation you handled in the past
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (San José, San José) in Aug 2022
Interview
Application moved forward for online assessments - passed that. Scheduled interview, interviewer did not show up, recruiter rescheduled me with someone from another country who did not understand the US mortgage risk industry and therefore didn't understand my experience and how it matched the Amazon job, there was also a cultural difference. This person was a peer and not a manager. I was already put off by the no-show and could tell early in the interview I would not be selected. It's like being American and interviewing someone from the Afghanistan, not understanding their previous job industry, culture, language, and not putting them through to the next round.
I would never consider another Amazon position. I studied their crap for hours for a week and none of that was asked.

I am a program manager and not an analyst. This person was an analyst asking me questions regarding their job - not mine.
