I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Las Vegas, NV) in Aug 2021
Interview
Pretty straightforward, you start with a Hirevue where you record yourself answering about 6 questions technical and leadership principles. If you pass that, then you go to the virtual interview, first with an IT manager where he/she asks you about behavioral/leadership questions that last about 45 minutes. Then after that, you get a 10 minutes break and start another interview for 45 minutes also, asking you technical questions. If you don't know anything just say I DON'T KNOW, they're not there to judge by what you know, they're only there to know where you at. Tbh, it's the behavioral/leadership that they care about the most.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
Interview
Two 45 min. back to back interviews through Amazon Chime with 2 managers and 2 engineers. Super nice people, very down to earth.
Really poor recruiting process, not even a courtesy email after the position was not accepted. Misleading job description.
Amazon's first leadership principle is "Customer Obsession", they really care about the customer but not so much about their employees so better to be on the customer side. No work life balance. Very disappointed.
