Question 1
They did not seem to care a lot about my skills, they just explained the job
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Feb 2019
Interview
The process was fairly simple. I applied online in January. At the end of January, I received an email for three 1-hour interviews. Since I do not live in Seattle, my interview was done over Chime (Amazon's version of Skype). I had about two weeks from the time I got sent this email until the time of my interview.
The interview was three one hour interviews with fifteen minute breaks in between. It seems like a long time, but the interviewers make the time go by quickly. The interview was pretty much all behavioral questions, you could tell that each interviewer was given a different leadership principle. My biggest piece of advice is to prep by listing out 3/4 specific examples for each leadership principle so that you are able to answer the behavioral questions quickly. I was not asked any intensive finance questions, only had one slightly finance based case study. I got an offer about 4 hours later, with 3 weeks to accept.

Question 1
How (from a finance perspective) would you go about integrating Alexa into home appliances?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
Accounting test online, 45 minute phone interview, 4 x 45 minute face to face interviews in a row.
Test was on basics, debits and credits.
Phone interview was asking for examples of situation.
Face to face interviews were more examples.
It’s not obvious from the questions what they want but try to throw in aspects of the leadership principals as much as possible. Mention customers/clients where possible, looking to learn and enhance yourself and go into detail and data. Even if it they haven’t asked for it.
