First, when you get to the front entrance (For DirecTV position) you are told to go to the opposite side of the building to get to the 'front door'. Second, the woman at the desk hands you a clipboard telling you to fill out the first two pages. Third, you are sent to a computer with the headset attached to choose from three selections for four different kinds of calls (vacations, cable, credit, and insurance-I don't remember exactly). On the same computer, you will choose various responses based on 'what would your job say of you' and 'what response fits you'. Fourth, when you are done the woman will hand you a math test of three questions based on a cable account pricing and billing (you must get two out of three right). Fifth, if there are other people whom have taken the same tests, a recruiter will come to talk to all of you telling you: you will be required to work one Saturday or Sunday, what kind of shifts there are, the next interview phase (talking to the recruiter), being in a panel for the start of training, being warned that those whom are training you will give you the kind of pressure you will be facing on the job, you have to work holidays, and in the event of hurricanes-you still need to work your shift & if you can't go home the building is safe for you to stay until your next shift or to go home (I'm not making that part up!).Sixth, you will be taking to the recruiter personally & find out or not (I was definitely NOT!) you are right for the position.
