I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate in Nov 2012
Interview
Process started off with simple screening call. Once you pass that stage you're invited to the Allstate campus for an all day event. There's a presentation, the feed you, give you a tour of the home office, then break people down into pairs for the interview.
Very basic questions: Tell me something your most proud off, tell me about a time where you struggled, why Allstate.
Nothing to challenging, just know your Resume and go over the basic interview questions.

Interview
Interview was the Scenario and response process. The questions that I was asked were questions that were more appropriate to college or high school graduates rather than questions for someone with business experience

Interview
I applied for this position in a very different location about 6 months prior to getting an email for the same position near me, I was looking to relocate.
I setup a phone interview, real easy. Then I had to do some testing online at home, real easy as well. Then they wanted me to do an interview with the hiring manager.
I looked on here and spoke with the recruiter to confirm the max starting salary is pathetic for this position. It's a solid 10k less compared to other major carriers. I have insurance experience but not as field adjuster, I couldn't afford the pay cut so I declined the in person interview.
