Jeff purchased book of business from agent and I came with the book. Jeff has been here for 20 years and I have been here for 23. Feel like we work very well together along with his wife Donna.

Interview
The process spanned more than 4 weeks. The initial interview is with a recruiter followed by a Director. If you're fortunate enough to progress through these gates, you're required to complete a 5 person panel interview. If the panel agrees to move you forward through their canned questions, you're required to complete a Hogan personality assessment and meet with the VP.
In my case, after being named a finalist, the VP asked me to meet with an additional Director. This is where things got weird as I felt like a character in the TV satire Succession. This Director was quite vulgar, deciding to contact mutual LinkedIn connections prior to our meeting as a means to gain her own personality insights. Unfortunately, these LinkedIn connections from a decade ago didn't provide the warmest feedback as I was told immediately in our conversation.
Ultimately I did not receive an offer and was all but ghosted by the recruiter. After repeated attempts to gain insights into the decision, I was told they couldn't find a position for me that fit my desired responsibilities.

Question 1
They asked the usual behavioral type questions: Tell me about a time where you had a difficult situation get a team to collaborate in a healthy way? How did you resolve the issue? What did you learn from the experience and what would you do differently now?
As well, they wanted to know why I wanted to work at Allstate and what I was looking for in my next role. After providing a portfolio of past work and a resume that included an extensive work history of UX industry experience, I was asked if I could do the job.
