I interviewed with a recruiter at a hiring event on Monday but was not told that I needed to submit an application online. When I submitted the application I received a call from Edwin who did not seem to know I had already interviewed with the recruiter. I declined Edwin's first interview offer because it was 40 miles away and I did not want that commute. Edwin then said he would set up an interview with a company in town for a part time position. He said it was the only available position in my town even though the recruiter had already sent me a list showing several available jobs in town. An interview was scheduled for Wednesday for the part time position at T-Mobile. On Saturday I received a call from the local mall asking me to come in for an interview in one hour. It was a rush but of course I went. I was interviewed by 2 officers at the mall for approximately 30 minutes, which was mostly questions about how I would respond to various scenarios. At the end of the verbal interview I was given a brief written test in which I was required to write a brief "report" about the interview I just had. I was told I would receive a call maybe as early as Sunday. I went to the Wednesday interview at T-Mobile thinking I was well prepared as I had just had an interview with Allied, so I should know what to expect. The interview was completely different. The interviewer at T-Mobile invited me to walk around the facility with him, asked very few questions and did most of the talking. He also said he would give me a call the next day. As of today, Friday, I have not received a call from either of the persons who interviewed me, nor from Allied Universal.
